I attended a symposium in
Tainan for two days last week,
there were over 30 experts from auto parts and aftermarket field. The symposium
named Branding Taiwan which is under
the auspices of the
government. All members joining in this
meeting were free of training, but must be the competent person of relative of
this field, fortunately, I was the one of them.
The goal of Branding Taiwan is providing a
favorable environment for branding development and popularization of the
international branding image for Taiwan. In this conference, Branding Taiwan
School invited 3 consultants
from DDG company with the extensive experience of Taiwan brand transition to
global brand.
The first speech maker with
blone hair and blue eyes was impressed me greatly. He taught us with fluent
mandarin to learned all detailed information of brand, what is the brand, how to
make selling strategy, brand awareness and do branded business, even if he is
with some American accents, his professional knowledge still earned a lot of respect and
admiration
He divided few members as
one group, he gave each group to do some workshops. Our team chose bus tires as
our main products. Each team brainstormed for a while in promotion
of selling and marketing, although, we did our best to make prefect promotion
strategies, he still could point out the weakness and suggested the better
solutions to avoid investment
damage.
There are many small and
medium enterprises make-up Taiwan’s industry and economy, these
companies have limited resources available, they still own the advantage in
innovation and R&D skill. If we do learn more about brand subject, may more and more
Taiwan's brands in the world will become the pride of
Taiwan.
